Twelve Weeks to a New You
This is the weight management program offered through the RAC.  Twelve Weeks to a New You is a structured program that will keep participants focused and on task to reach their fitness and body weight goals.  This unique program is comprehensive and involves all aspects of a healthy lifestyle.  Pick from one of the two packages and get started now on a new you.  Both programs run for 12 weeks and ensure that you will see positive results.  The programs have specific tasks to accomplish through 12 weeks to keep you on schedule and committed.  The programs also offer an incentive once you achieve your agreed upon goals.  The goals are created by the participant with input from the RAC staff dietitian and personal trainer.

Gold Package $1150.00          Non Member $1405.00
Couple rate/share the trainer: $850.00 each          Non Member $1105.00 each

· Resting and Exercise Metabolic Tests – 12 week heart rate zone training program
· Initial nutrition consultation
· Initial personal training consultation with before and after pictures and measurements
· Food diary
· Weekly (12) 1 hour personal training session
· Weekly weigh-in, food diary checks with the dietitian
· Recipe and diet tips from dietitian
· $200 RAC services gift certificate for obtaining program goals
· Share the trainer rate; $140 RAC services gift certificate for obtaining program goals

Silver Package $850.00          Non Member $1405.00

New Options for the RAC Members that have completed the Gold or Silver Twelve Weeks to a New You program

Twelve Weeks to a New You Phase 2
*Must have completed TWNY gold or silver package to join.  Phase 2 is another 12 week program.
· 6 hours of personal training over 12 weeks or 12- 30 min sessions
· 12 weeks of Weekly Weigh-ins with Dietitian
· Repeat Exercise Metabolic Test  and new 12 week cardiovascular program
· New checklist of diet and exercise challenges to keep you on track and focused
· After picture and after measurements at end of 12 weeks
· Right to purchase additional training sessions at reduced rates.  $47 per hour, $40 per 45 minutes, $32 per 30 minutes.
· $75 incentive if goal is achieved or $50 each if joined as a couple
· Cost- $545 or $775 couple rate ($387.50 each)
· Not available to non-members

Twelve Weeks to a New You Phase 3
*Must have completed TWNY gold or silver package.  Do not have to have completed TWNY phase 2 program.
· Once a Month check-ins with the dietitian for 30 minutes 4.5  hours of personal training over 12 weeks   (9- 30 minute sessions  OR 6- 45 min sessions)
· Right to purchase additional training sessions at reduced rates.  $47 per hour, $40 per 45 minutes, $32 per 30 minutes
· Incentive $50 towards RAC services or $30 each if joined as a couple
· Cost- $315 or $390 couple rate ($195.00 each)
· Not available to non-members

Twelve Weeks to a New You Basic (Diet Only)

Initial Consult with Registered Dietitian - official weigh-in, explain binder & food journal, set goals and learn about incentive, set up weigh-in time and diet consult time, take before/after pictures & measurements, fill out registration form

· Calorie Counter Book
· Total Cost= $275
· Incentive- $50 toward RAC goods and services (20%)
· Metabolic Testing – Option- $170 for both RMR & EXMR; $105 RMR only; $120 EXMR only

Twelve Week to a New You testimonials 2010;

Nothing feels better than feeling fit and trim.  When I started the program at the RAC, I did not realize what my eating habits were doing to my health.  I lost 14 pounds and several inches from my chest, waist, and hips.  One month after the program, I continue to track my calories, food choices, and exercise daily.  I have maintained my weight loss and have gone from a size 10 to a size 6.  I feel great and love how I look.  Thank you Branda and Suzi!

   This Client stopped in 2 months after completing the program to share good news she had just received from her doctor.  Her cholesterol dropped from 270 (high) to 189 (normal) and her fasting blood sugar went from 120 (pre-diabetic range) to 92 (normal range).  She has also lost an additional 6 pounds since we last met!

About a year and half ago I had my annual check-up with blood work. The result of the check-up was my Doctor telling me that I was very overweight and my blood sugar level was in the diabetic range (132).I belonged to the RAC but couldn't seem to do anything on a regular basis in order to lose weight. I noticed the article in the monthly newsletter about the 12 Week to a New You program. I thought to myself "this is exactly what I need to do!!”I met with Branda and signed up for the program.  On Nov 12th 2008, I completed the 12 weeks and had lost 40 lbs!!  The program Branda had me do was well explained, educational, and I saw results immediately.On December 15th 2008 I had my new blood work done and the results were simply stunning. Blood sugar in the low normal range (98), cholesterol went from 197 to 148 and all other measures were just as great.I continue in the extension program and have now lost 68.8 lbs in 22 weeks! I'm just finishing up my 12 week program and I can't say enough about how great I feel.  Wes has worked with me on strength training, mixing in a variety of workouts so it doesn't get boring.  Branda has been terrific in educating me about nutrition and how making the right food choices are critical factors in successful weight loss.  She's emphasized the importance of eating more often (sounds funny, doesn't it?) to keep my metabolism up and I've learned to substitute healthier foods/snacks like fruits instead of desserts, chips, etc.    She also pushed me to eat the foods my family eats -- with variety and portion control being the key.  Overall, I've gained a greater appreciation for a more balanced diet and an awareness of how much food I need vs. how much I may want.  This program has been well worth the investment, time and effort.  The only downside is expense of all the new clothes I have to buy and the tailoring bills for the old ones.  I know I need to continue these good eating habits and make regular exercise a regular part of my weekly calendar.  Now it's up to me!  BL  * Bob lost 64 lbs in 12 weeks*

have done with other weight loss programs.  I think the reason that this
program is more successful than others is that it incorporates ongoing
individualized consultation for participants.  The weekly support and
