Title: Weight Training and Core Stability for Runners
There is more to running than just pounding out the miles. Improving times from the 5K to the marathon require additional strength and conditioning. Brian will talk about keeping your body healthy, strong, and fast by learning new techniques to improve your core strength. He will also discuss how to build arm and leg strength specific to running. This is an interactive lecture which includes core stability testing, flexibility guides, and weight training tips to prepare you for your spring running season.

All lectures are held at the RAC, are free, and open to the public. This lecture will be held in the Civic View room. |
